WELCOME to Fresh Fire AME Church located at 2508 Gull Road, Kalamazoo, Mich., under the leadership of Pastor Bobette Hampton. Ours is a Word-centered ministry planted by God, a ministry designed to serve the present age.
The Fresh Fire Church offers a holistic ministry to the People of God in our community. The Holistic Ministry is mind, body and soul, dedicated to equipping people to evangelize, empower, educate, encourage and engage God's People in the world.
As Christ ministers to the TOTAL PERSON, we strive to become an oasis of HOPE, addressing the spiritual needs in a tangible way. Our current area of concentration for growth is to strengthen members' and others' Prayer Life and to save the lost through the WORD of God, that they may receive Salvation. Our foundation is the WORD of God; as God's spiritual leaders, we believe the Word in its entirety. We believe we can do what the Word says we can do, be who the Word says we can be, and have what the Word says we can have.
Our mission and ministry at Fresh Fire is to provide meaningful ministry. Christ is excellent in all ways and we commit ourselves to "His spirit of excellence," seeking daily the highest, finest and the best that God has for us, serving Him and Him only. We are striving daily to equip and empower the people of God with the WORD of God. And as a result, we become D.E.E.P. --- Discipling, Equipping, Evangelizing and Praying.
